Picture My Week – GOATS, GRAPES, & GOIS October 16, 2013 by portugalholidayguide Leave a comment We had two new arrivals in the village this week They are less than 2 days old and still a bit wobbly on their feet Aren’t they cute ! a friend and I picked my grapes this week -end my neighbour has the grapes the goats have the leaves and I have a view of the valley from my work room again My grapes were added to the rest and the pressing started I walked the Roman road to Gois and back ( 12 kms) this week enjoying the views on the way the beach bar in Gois was being dismantled, before the river water rises in the Winter. It will be rebuilt next June. and the sand was starting to wash away Gois was looking very Autumnal. Lovely colours everywhere. My neighbour brought round a bottle he made from last years grapes .
